The firm central arch contour of the Arch Angel will reduce in height over time.
When you can no longer feel the Arch Angel moving under the foot it is time to reshape.

EASY STEPS
HEAT
- SHAPE - COOL -
RE-FIT
1. HEATING.
The recommended heating method is by microwave oven.
Warning. Microwave ovens are not standard, so take care not to "over cook" the Arch Angels.
The central firm portion needs to be softened evenly so that the arch contour can be easily reshaped. Place an Arch Angel in the centre of the microwave, topside up. Set the microwave to high. Velcro dots can be left in place during the heating process. Heat the Arch Angel for 15 - 20 seconds and test.
Test to see if the central area is evenly soft and flexible. If the central area is still firm, continue heating at 5 second intervals, retesting as you go. If the Arch Angel is heated for too long, it will distort the arch shape.
A hair drier, or a heat gun, can be used to heat this central area, but if using a heat gun, be careful not to burn the material.
2. FORMING THE SHAPE.
The softened central portion of the Arch Angel can be wrapped around a circular object to form an arch shape, or alternatively can be placed on a flat surface, with the central portion shaped into an exaggerated, upside down U shape. Slightly "round" out the shape, so that the arch of the foot is not irritated.
3. COOLING.
Once a satisfactory shape is achieved, it needs to be maintained until the Arch Angel is completely cold and the central portion is hard again.
Weights can be placed on the flat ends of the Arch Angels to keep the desired central shape, or pegs can be used.
If cooling needs to be quick, place the Arch Angels in the fridge for five minutes.
4. RE-FIT.
Check that the Velcro dot is in good condition. Replace if necessary.
Place the reshaped Arch Angel into footwear as before and flatten out the arch with the thumb before putting the foot in the shoe. Match the arch profiles to ensure foot comfort. Lift and point the foot to ensure that you can feel the Arch Angel moving under the arch.
Arch Angels can be reheated and reshaped repeatedly.
